skellingtons in my sketchbook have been speaking to me again
about the spaces between the thoughts
where the great space resides
where the possibilities shake
it has become integral to s t r e t c h o u t my moments
room for them to wiggle thru
there is a deep longing here
saddened nostalgia is a whole slice of my personality
always peeking out from behind a purple velvet curtain
i never knew when she will become emboldened enough to force herself onto my lap
as a monstrous wet dog demanding the privileges of a Chihuahua
my inner child at 6 is.
